Responsibilities
- Acting as a trusted advisor, you are a key point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, with the goal to build the relationship, drive incremental value, retain and expand the customer use of smartboost’s services
- Build relationships with assigned customers, help them with issues, and continually delight them with a positive customer-centric attitude. Provide proactive strategy with assigned customer accounts
- Efficiently manage time to focus on essential activities to ensure customer satisfaction, account renewal, and account growth
- Develop and share best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes
- Work closely with marketing, web, and data science teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience and take care of any customer issues
- Monitor and report on customer needs, performance, strategies, and business updates
- Maintain a revenue base by managing account retention, renewal, and up-sells
- Involved from the initial point of contact to help decide the scope of the project and keep sales promises in check
- Responsible for setting boundaries with clients and informing any change in scope of contract based on input from team and understanding of capacity/capabilities
Requirements
- 3 years of sales & customer support experience for more than 5 accounts
- MUST have experience with a customer-facing role (Customer Success, Engagement Manager, Account Manager)
- Understanding of Internet, digital marketing, web design, and web applications with a desire to learn new technologies
- Love to help others & empathize with users of all experience levels
- Possess strong phone, written, and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation skills
- Confident, high energy, self-motivated, and a true team player
- Excellent multitasking and project management skills
- Enjoy solving problems & learning new things
- Strong experience with web analytics tools and reports creation
- Background in Software/Saas is a plus
- Experience with Gsuite, Asana, and HubSpot a plus
